In an effort to make our carnival, party, and
game rentals as affordable as possible, we now offer extended customer
pickup options. Washington law governs what customers can pickup and setup
themselves and what must be setup by the vendor's staff or agents.
Washington state law WAC 296-403A-240 requires, “The lessor or
their authorized agent is responsible for providing proper set up and tear
down of each amusement ride or structure (authorized agents must be under
written contract to the owner or operator).” It
is our understanding of the rule that, if a structure or piece of equipment
is considered an amusement ride or structure, we are required to setup and
takedown those particular rides. The primary reason for the rule is to
ensure safety of the participants. If a speed pitch is not properly setup
and flips over, no one is likely to get hurt since no one actually plays
inside the inflatable. The same is not true if a slide is not properly setup
and turns over. Someone might well get hurt. (See our blog article dated

However, we have tons of equipment that are not amusement rides so customers
can come in and pick them up. We’ll go over the instructions and tricks of
the trade when you come in. So here are the items you are welcome to come in
pick up, setup, and bring back on your own. You can save 10% or more off the
