We believe in full disclosure of our
business practices and invite you to compare how we do
business with any other company in our industry. When you
reserve equipment or services with FunRent, we are making a
firm commitment to you to be there on time with quality
equipment. That means we cannot book the equipment you have
reserved for any other event on that day. That's why we ask
for prepayment at the time you reserve your
equipment. The prepayment reserves the equipment just for
you and your event. Please note prepayments are not
refundable. Here are the details:
finalize almost all reservations by telephone. We know
some vendors allow internet reservations, but we haven't
seen a system yet that can gather all the necessary
information to ensure a properly delivered and setup event.
We want to make sure we get all the details rights because
even one seemingly minor overlooked detail can crash an
event. We certainly take inquires by way of our website and
email, but we almost always finalize them by telephone.
Prepayment: If your
total is under $500 or if you are booking your event
within two weeks of the event date, the total
amount is due at the time your book your event
If your total is more than $500,
we accept a 50% prepayment at the time your book
your event. The balance is due before your
event. Payments can be made by check or credit
card. We do not accept accept cash payments.
Prepayments are not refundable but may be applied to a
future event. Whether you made a payment of 50% or 100%, we
do not refund prepayments. They are your commitment to us
and our commitment to you. Because we do not double book
equipment like most other vendors, we have lost the revenue
from your event if you cancel. We will always try to work
with you to reschedule.
Payments: We accept
VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover cards
along with checks. Our delivery teams may have several
events on any given day and it is difficult for them to
properly secure cash payments. We also accept company or
institutional purchase orders in lieu of prepayments.
FunRent is an authorized Microsoft vendor and can process
invoices for Microsoft events through its vendor purchasing
Holding Equipment: To
be fair to all our customers, FunRent cannot place a hold
on equipment. Once you have reserved the equipment and met
your prepayment, the equipment is yours and will not by
booked out to anyone else.
Ready to Book Your Equipment?
We don't actually reserve equipment over the
Internet. You might wonder why. The answer is simple -
we want to get it right! Once you're
ready to reserve the equipment and date, please give us a
call or send us the form below and we'll call you.
Reserving equipment and getting order placed correctly
requires us to ask questions about your event so we'll know
things like setup obstacles, stairs and hills, the type of
surface we'll be setting up on, electricity and/or water
availability, and much, much more. It also gives us a
chance to make sure you know the equipment fits your needs.
After you've stressed over an event and paid the amount
required, we want to be absolutely certain, that nothing
